Trgovan Raid
Time stops as you hear a shout and turn to see a group of Redvakt Peacekeepers riffling through belongings and harrasing anyone they approach. The sounds of a fight pierce the air and the crowd begins to press past you as they attempt to avoid being caught up in it.

Description
The orderly bustle of Trgovan Square is upended as a group of Redvakt Peacekeepers enter from a side street and begin systematically sweeping through the crowd. They suddenly turn their focus to a group loitering at the edge of the square. Some attempt to flee as they realize they’re the latest target but the Redvakt were prepared and quickly chase them down, beating them for their resistance.
Adventure Hook
At the king’s direction, Redvakt Peacekeepers are conducting searches for specific magical items. He’s ordered the confiscation of items the king believes are to be used for a coordinated attack against the monarchy by traditionalist agitators in an effort to stop the plot.
- The Trigger: Triggers upon witnessing the Redvakt raid in the trade districts. While navigating Trgovan Square, the party intercepts a frantic group of traditionalist agitators who are fleeing a brutal, localized Redvakt raid. One of the wounded agitators desperately shoves an oilskin satchel into a character’s hands before being dragged away by the guards. Inside is a volatile, unstable magical ignition core wrapped in a revolutionary manifesto.
- The Objective: Upon examining the manifesto, the party finds a detailed layout of the royal timber storehouses, alongside urgent orders signed by a cell leader named Milo Breznik, operating out of the Lozera Haven in the Docks Ward. The text explicitly warns that the crown is hunting these exact ignition cores to stop their upcoming arson plot. The party must successfully evade the remaining search squads and choose whether to hand the device over to the Redvakt to crush the cell, or locate Milo at the haven to deliver the weapon and join the conspiracy.
Adventure Progression
Time Limit: 14 days after the initial trigger event.
- If Opposing the Crown: Should the party deliver the ignition core to Milo Breznik and assist the conspiracy, royal timber storehouses are successfully set ablaze. Some Redvakt Peacekeepers are pulled away from their posts to manage the crisis, causing the DC for all Dexterity (Stealth) checks throughout Liekia to decrease by 2, and the party gains permanent access to a traditionalist safehouse.
- If Assisting the Crown (or Actively Ignored): Whether the party surrenders the ignition core or ignores the plot—allowing the unguided cell to trigger a premature detonation—royal inquisitors trace the device’s specialized magical components directly back to the cell’s logistics network. In either case, the investigation exposes their hideout, and three dozen traditionalists are publicly executed in Skalan. The party earns a Royal Commendation if they actively assisted, but widespread civil discontent doubles guard patrols and increases all market prices by 20 percent due to choked trade routes.
