K’utu
Clinging directly to the sheer rock faces of the Air Spire, K’utu is a sprawling vertical metropolis suspended between Earth and sky. Narrow switchback trails and fortified lift stations at the valley floor give way to an intricate, towering network of timber platforms, nest-like residential districts, and soaring stone spires. Swaying rope bridges crisscross terrifying chasms, while high-tensile cable cars glides continuously along braided iron tethers to join the city’s sprawling vertical tiers.
Beneath cold mountain skies and sweeping alpine mists, the architecture transitions seamlessly from heavy, stone workshops at its base to light wood and canvas awnings on its high balconies. At the very center of the settlement sits The Rachis, a massive open-air marketplace sheltered within a palm of five towering peaks.
